In Dubai, Qatar and Kuwait the work follows migrant workers, shipbuilders, fishermen, Friday prayer and camel racing in the desert; in Amsterdam and Berlin it turns to canals, cyclists and night streets. Much of the series is black and white, focused on daily life and the people who make the cities run.
